Hope and Joe loved the grandiose ambiance of their venue. The main reception room is definitely a show-stopper! I took a wide angle shot of the two of them to show off the incredible environment around them.
A lot of the portraits I take on a wedding day are what I would call "environmental portraits". I call them this because it's not just about the couple but rather the couple IN the location these have chosen. I think of the background as an extension of the couple because it usually has some kind of personal meaning to them.
