This picture was taken at the Bank St Annex in Easton, PA.
While most of the portraits I take of the couple are outside during the day, there are also times when I am photographing inside during the evening.
The wedding reception is the longest part of the day. Understandably, sometimes the couple wants a few minutes away from everyone just to spend a few moments alone together. Sometimes during these moments the couple would also like some additional pictures.
The bride and groom, Deanna and Scott, were happy to leave their reception for a few minutes and we created some quiet and intimate portraits of the two of them. In this picture, I purposely shot through a doorway and used the edge of that to bisect the frame and create a sense of privacy for the couple off to the side of the composition.
