Sarah and Sanjeev really loved the ambiance of their wedding venue. They especially loved the steps, stained glass ceiling, and chandeliers. I wanted to make sure to capture all of those elements in their portraits together.
Believe it or not, I do not take a lot of pictures of couples actually kissing. I always get their first kiss at the end of the ceremony but only a few kisses after that. Why? Well, the camera freezes motion. When two people are actually kisses and you freeze that, it could look a little awkward. What I find to be very effective, is capturing the moment right before or right after the kiss which translates better through the camera. It still reads as an intimate moment without freezing two faces smashed together :)
