While most of the portraits of the wedding couple are taken during the day, some are also captured later in the day. Sunset wedding photography certainly adds to the romance of the day. As long as the weather cooperates, I can create some really stunning pictures for the couple.
The bride and groom, Charlette and Quinn, were happy to step out from their wedding reception for a few minutes because the sunset colors were looking amazing! I chose to photograph a silhouette for this particular image. With silhouettes, body language is especially important. I gave Charlette and Quinn some direction to reach their arms out towards each other. There was also a subtle breeze so I made sure to have the bride stand on the appropriate side so her hair was blown back a bit rather than blowing in her face. I think sunset pictures are a great "book end" for your wedding photography.
